Squid
Here I made the top part of the squid and started in on the legs. It is important to have a plan, but a loose one as projects often evolve as you're making them.
This is after the legs are finished and ready to move on to the next part! To make them curl, I did a loose chain and tight doubles.
This is the start of the body under the head. I decided to have it as a separate piece I would sew on rather than starting from the head.
This is where I stuffed and finalized the squid! I used some old buttons for the eyes and cinched the bottom. I additionally made two more long legs, as squids have. This is a project that came completely from my own brain and of my own creation. I never remake the same craft and each of my works is unique!
